Brian Training (8-16)

Brain Training is a program designed for primary and secondary aged children.

In Brain Training we help to:
– Boost self-esteem and confidence
– Feel calmer and more in control of emotions
– Increase overall happiness
– Increase resilience and motivation
– Cope better under pressure
– Change unwanted habits
– Develop strengths and abilities
– Feel calmer on a day to day basis
– Create a more positive attitude
– Develop a performance mindset (sports, public speaking, exams)
– Improve sleep

In the sessions we learn how and why our brain works the way it does. We looks at where anxiety, low mood and anger come from and learn the skills to cope better in day to day life.

A typical Brain Training session consists of:
– What’s been good?
– Brain Explanation
– Where am I at?
– Miracle Question = Next Step
– Couch Time (hypnotherapy)

Sessions follow the structure indicated above but within this is flexibility so that your teen feels listened to and so that we can get the very best out of each session.

Your child and you will receive some brain training to carry out each week. These exercises support the work we are doing and build on what has been covered each week in the sessions.

You can choose to pay as you go (PAYG) for sessions or purchase a set of 6 that is at a discounted price.
